A Dog's Way Home
Synopsis: The story is about an abandoned Pitbull who was separated from its mother and family and was taken care of by its new-found owner Lucas. The new owner lovingly kept the name of the puppy as Bella. Bella’s newfound family provided everything a dog deserves. But due to the rules and regulations in the state, Bella went through the turmoil of separation again and Lucas decided to move her to Mexico for her safety. Bella couldn’t bear the separation and soon set out on the journey of finding her owner and home. It escaped from Mexico and traveled all through 400 miles to find Lucas. Along the way, the lost but spirited dog met with many strangers who became a part of her family and helped her throughout her path home.
Why Should You Watch This Movie?
This is a family film especially meant for Dog Lovers. The main protagonist is the Dog and the whole plot of the movie revolves around the journey of Bella. Some of the best scenes are the hospital scenes where the dog became a part of the soldier’s family who comes for therapy from Lucas’s mother. The Dog became a part of their recreational activity. Next is the way she escapes and met the orphaned lion in the jungle, the group of other dogs who helped her to hunt food which she was not aware of. The strangers who kept her after the avalanche incident. Finally reaching her home and finding Lucas.
Things Which Could Have Been Better!
It was a predictable story, the rules and regulation part of restriction on pitbull in a state was a little exaggerating. The entry of a Dog in restricted hospital premises was a little unreal. The CGI of the grown-up mountain lion could have been better. The Journey could have been a little crisper.
Advice:
Dog Lovers keep some tissue because there are some very emotional scenes that will definitely be going to hit you hard. It’s a wonderful journey.
