Kumbalangi Nights Movie Review

Kumbalangi Nights- A TALE OF FOUR BROTHERS
Genre: Drama/Romance
Ratings: 9/10
Director: Madhu C. Narayanan

Kumbalangi Nights is a beautiful story of four brothers, their ups and downs, and finding peace with each other. Their relationship gets strained due to many factors but everyone gets united and fought for their brother’s love in the end. There are many moments in the film which is subtle yet compelling. When young Franky lies to his hostel friends that his family is suffering from chickenpox to avoid them to come to their place, the death of Saji’s partner while saving Saji from committing suicide, the hate-love relationship between Saji and Bobby, and the silence of Bonny. Every character is so well written and memorable. And not to forget the scary and mysterious Shammi who will blow your mind every time whenever he appears on the screen.

This film is for those who love the humor that springs from the deep-rooted realities of life. Beautifully shot with breathtaking backwaters shot it is definitely going to soothe your eyes and mind. All the actors have not only acted but have lived each of the characters they portrayed with so much ease and perfection. There is humor, tension, and eeriness which makes this movie distinct from others. A great story with so much heart and unforgettable moments restoring the faith that the script rules the new-age cinema. Simply Brilliant.
