The Lion King Movie Review

Lion King is the story of Simba who blamed himself for his father’s tragic death Mufasa while saving him. His guilt of killing his father was instilled by his uncle Scar who played the hysterical plan to kill Mufasa and be the king of the jungle. Simba’s curiosity of knowing the truth of the shadows behind the jungle became a reason for his father’s death. He ran away from his family to escape the bitter truth which haunted him till he grew to the rightful king of the jungle as promised. He was happy with his newfound friends Timon and Pumbaa who lived a carefree life in another jungle. Simba started to believe that life is all about “Hakuna Matata” which meant not to worry much. He was slowly and steadily healing from his past when one day he encountered Nala, his to be the queen from childhood. Nala was on the search for a solution to help her fellow members when she came across Simba. She immediately advised Simba to help the jungle and fulfill the promise of him to be the king after his father. He was confused but later on, he got his answer and took revenge on his father and became the king of the jungle supporting the circle of life in the jungle.

Lion King is one of the most anticipated films of 2019. It has a lot of memories involved and to draw a comparison of the first animation of Lion King was obvious. The story remained the same as the earlier version of the animation film with new visuals. The best two characters in the new version are Timon and Pumbaa. They stole the show in every aspect. And the other thing that managed to grab the limelight was the young Simba which was too cute to handle. The only thing that could be felt missing is the hurriedness of the plot which could have been better. The Visuals are perfect with some big celebrities voice-overs from Donald Glover (Simba), Beyonce (Nala), Seth Rogen (Pumbaa), Billy Eichner (Timon), and James Earl Jones (Mufasa).

Just go and watch this beautiful rendition and enjoy it!
