The film starts with the life of Mumbai where one part is hugely dependent on the “Mumbai Dabbawala”. Ila and Mr. Fernandez are two broken souls who happened to get to know each other through the tiffin service. The messages they exchanged through the letters gave them a ray of hope to dream for a life that is stuck somewhere in the maddening crowd.

It’s a treat to watch both Irfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui together. Every expression and shot seems so beautifully crafted and meant for each actor.

The documentary covers the stories of families and their plight post a crime. It has shown the perspectives of both sides. A young child loses both parents to a political assassination, a nun who is battling with cancer loses her sister in broad daylight murder, an American woman who lost her husband and daughter in the gruesome 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai.
