The chemistry is unique and a must-watch to experience a different insight on love. A story of different shades of love . Lunchbox Review

Image
Genre: Drama/Romance Ratings: 8/10 Director: Ritesh Batra The film starts with the life of Mumbai where one part is hugely dependent on the  “Mumbai Dabbawala” . Ila and Mr. Fernandez are two broken souls who happened to get to know each other through the  tiffin service . The messages they exchanged through the letters gave them a ray of hope to dream for a life that is stuck somewhere in the maddening crowd. It’s a treat to watch both Irfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui together. Every expression and shot seems so beautifully crafted and meant for each actor.

Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota Review

Image
Comedy/Action/Romance Ratings: 8/10 Director: Vasan Bala     This film is one of the stylish films. Surya (Abhimanyu Dasani) suffers from congenital insensitivity who idolizes the Karate Mani (Gulshan Devaiah) since childhood. Due to the disorder, he couldn’t feel any pain and as a result, he is always bullied at school. His grandfather (Mahesh Manjrekar) stood rock solid and helped him to develop his skill through watching action movies. His love interest is the badass Supri (Radhika Madan) who is supremely skilled like him.   It can be easily considered as one of the superheroes  in  Bollywood  which has all the flavors. Witty Dialogues, Great action sequences, and fresh new promising actors. A must watch for full entertainment and certainly can be touted as the new age cinema. Director Vasan Bala did all justice to live up to the expectation of a new approach and is impressive .

Hamid Review

Image
Genre: Drama Ratings: 7/10 Director: Aijaz Khan Hamid is a little boy who lost his father and wants to search his father through Allah, the Almighty. His mother explains to  him that 786 is the number of Allah. In order to reach his father, he calls in that number and God answers him one day. The call is received by none other than a CRPF Jawan whom Hamid thinks as God and asks him to send his father. They developed a beautiful relationship amidst the hatred that engulfs the city. The film is an achingly beautiful portrayal of loss, pain, anger, and love in one of the world’s most troubled and militarized zones, Kashmir. With this simple story filmmaker, Aijaz Khan tells a thousand tales and conveys a very important message. Excellent performances by the actors especially the little kid. He will tear you apart every single time you see him on screen. A must watch .

Genre: Drama/Action Ratings: 8/10 Director: Vikramaditya Motwane Three friends start to make videos on corruption in their self made YouTube channel “Insaaf”. They put on masks and tries to stop people who break rules like jumping the red light, cutting trees. What started off as a small project, it became serious when people started to request them for bigger causes. Bhavesh Joshi (Priyanshu Painyuli) got involved in a water scam and is murdered by the mafia. Siku (Harshvardhan Kapoor) left the project in the halfway and planned to leave for America for a settled job. But the death of his best friend who died for the cause stopped him and made him take revenge. He set out to make videos and started to post again in the name of his friend Bhavesh Joshi. He continued to fight against corruption along with his only friend left Rajat (Ashish Verma). When we think of Bollywood Super Hero films there are very few to name. But some films which are highly underrated are Bhavesh Joshi and Mard

Dream Girl Movie Review

Image
Dream Girl is a laugh riot! Ayushmann Khurrana is on fire. This will be his second success post Article 15 in 2019. The complete cast of this movie is well crafted and each character is unforgettable.    The famous duo of Vicky Donor fame Annu Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana are back with a bang as father and son. They have some wittiest dialogues in the movie. In this, an educated but jobless Karamvir is desperate to prove his father. He is popular in the locality for playing the role of Sita in the local plays of Ramayan. Everyone loves him and some take his blessings for any good work. But his father is unhappy with the attention that his son was gaining as playing a female character instead of a male. To gain his father’s trust Karamvir lands up in a call center looking for a job unaware of the fact that was a “Friendship Call Center” where 99 percent of the employees were women. Since he was desperate and also confident of his female voice playing the role of Sita, he convinced the

Bala Movie Review

Image
Despite the huge controversy of copyright issues, Bala has emerged as a winner in terms of acting, witty dialogues, and direction The age-old stigma of certain issues which is still very much prevalent has been portrayed in a subtle way avoiding the route of predictable climaxes The elements of small city life and its obsession towards  films, acting, social media is hilarious Ayushmann Khurrana has left no stone unturned to make this character so believable with his prowess. The agony of a young man losing hair prematurely and how it affects his personal and professional life has been delivered fantastically The huge debate doing the rounds of Bhumi Padnekar doing the role of a dark-skinned girl is not at all disappointing. She has delivered her part as the women who believed in her color and helped Bala to accept his real identity is really heart touching Yami Gautam as the popular Tik Tok sensation seems believable with a provocative thought that beauty is the prime thing in her lif

Chhapaak Movie Review

A Lifelong Splash This is a much-needed story that has never been told much unlike other crimes, a story not in news much, a story that has never been discussed much, the way it should be, a story that celebrates the women who suffered yet proved to be triumphant. It is the story of an acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, who was attacked by one of her family friends who could not bear the rejection of his romantic advances. It is her journey where she fought with her inner self to face the harsh reality and file a PIL for the acid ban. Her fight is still ongoing and only half the battle is won. She is still fighting with many campaigns and has been recognized as a role model for being the face of women’s empowerment globally. She represents the beauty of living a life without regrets, grit and courage. Meghna Gulzar along with Deepika Padukone delivered this much-needed story responsibly and sensibly. They brought the subject
